Casino

Introduction

The Red Wing Casino is located in the SE corner of Eltibule and can also be reached via a portal in the middle of the town of Rahu. It's got several gambling options, a garden, and multiple NPCs of various types, including mantises, a goblin, an Ogre, an Aktaari, and various shops. It's mostly run by the mantises, but it is important to note that the Dwarfs were responsible for most of the construction.

Daily Quests

Known as Casino Excursions and sometimes referred to by the players as “Dailies”, there are four quests that rotate every day at Midnight Eastern Time. These quests are:

The easiest one time and combat-wise is probably the Wolf Cave, however there is a particularly tricky jump puzzle located near the end of this cave that is oftentimes a run-killer for some players. It also has a long of wandering mobs that might aggro on low level groupmates so it's important to stay fairly close together and to do one particular sequence where the players fall down in a hole all together as a group.

Dark Chapel is perhaps the next easiest one to run, however it does require a group that can handle the swarms of fire mobs and damage effectively. It also has a puzzle midway through and some player groups wipe easily if they aren't careful near the end of it and accidentally pull the whole final boss room. It also has a penultimate boss mob that dies fairly quickly and it's important to make sure everyone tags that boss to get the quest item successfully.

Winter Nexus can be problematic if you don't have a diverse group that is capable of handling the various damage outputs that can happen throughout it. It's also well known for causing a significant number of broken bones that need repaired post-run by someone with Treat Disease 3 or the Moss Bone Repair ability.

Ice Caves also has a number of broken bones situations and is a very long run, though if your team can output a reasonable amount of damage and moves quickly, it can be easier and safer to do than some of the other runs mentioned here. It also has the benefit of being a run where you can get Malingo's skull and get a benefit to XP or new skills/abilities (like the Moss Bone Repair) when you turn in the skull to the red orb near the entrance of the cave. Most players should do this run at least a few times to get those skills.
